how it works
for artists. you make the work. painttwits gives it a gallery at your own address and puts it in front of collectors near you.
-
send a painting
photograph a piece and email it to
[email protected]. if you're new, we hold it (up to three) and reply with a link to apply. -
apply
about thirty seconds. sign in with google or an email link, then tell us your name, where you work, a link to your work, and a line about it.
-
a person looks
every artist is approved by hand, by a painter, usually within a few days. you get an email when we've got your application and another when you're in.
-
your gallery
you get
yourname.painttwits.com, with a deep-zoom viewer for every piece. anything you emailed before applying is already hanging there. -
adding work
email it from your phone. it's live on your gallery in a couple of minutes, and painttwits posts it to bluesky.
or drag images onto your gallery page. those reach the painttwits feed after a quick look.
put details in the subject if you like:
"Harbor at Dusk" 24x36 oil on canvas -
collectors find you
your work shows up in the swipe feed and on the map. people save what they like and can ask to connect. your map pin is approximate, never your studio address.
-
